EFLM Continuing Professional Education Credit System – CPECS®
The XXXIst Balkan Clinical Laboratory Federation Meeting and the 35th National Biochemistry Congress have been submitted for accreditation under the EFLM Continuing Professional Education Credit System (CPECS
®), enabling participants to earn CPECS
® credits. The EFLM CPECS
® provides a robust quality assurance framework for accrediting continuing education events, ensuring that they meet the high standards of educational content in laboratory medicine and related scientific fields. In countries without an existing national crediting system, CPECS
® may serve as the adopted system for accrediting educational events and may voluntarily recognize CPECS
® credits.

A maximum of 19.5 CPECS
® credits can be earned for attending the educational sessions at the XXXIst Balkan Clinical Laboratory Federation Meeting and the 35th National Biochemistry Congress.

How Will You Register for CPECS® Credits
To earn CPECS® credits, participants must download the official congress mobile app (download instructions will be provided before the event). After logging into the app, participants will need to scan in and out using the QR codes displayed at the entrances and exits of each session room, as well as on the presentation screens. The system will automatically track attendance.
Attendance and Certification Requirements
To qualify for CPECS® credits, participants must attend at least 75% of each session. After the congress, eligible participants will receive an email with an evaluation questionnaire. Once the post-event questionnaire is completed, CPECS® certificates will be issued and sent to those who meet the attendance and evaluation requirements.
